The Senate of the “NEU National Educational University” is a collegial body of a higher educational institution.
The University Senate carries out its activities in accordance with the Constitution of Georgia, the Law of Georgia “On Higher Education”, the legislation of Georgia and its own regulations.
The Senate shall be composed of seven (7) members: the Founder, the Rector, three (3) academic staff members affiliated with the University, nominated by the School/Schools Council, and two (2) students nominated by the Student Self-Government.
The term of office of a Senate member is determined by 6 (six) years.
The Senate approves all legal documents valid at the “NEU National Educational University” without exception.
